Finances

School Education Department, Government of Maharashtra invites applications for the Open Merit Scholarships in Junior College, Maharashtra 2017-18 from the students who have secured 60 percent marks in the SSC examination. The objective of this scholarship is to motivate those students for further higher education.
Who can apply for this scholarship ?

In order to be eligible, an applicant must-




  • Be studying in Class 11 or 12.

  • Have secured a minimum of 60 percent marks in the SSC examination. 


How can you apply ?

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship online through following steps -

Step 1: to register as a new user. (Note: Candidate should have a mobile number registered with their Aadhaar card to ensure seamless and fast application process.)

Step 2: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometric. 

Step 3: The candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number if they opt for OTP authentication.

Step 4: Complete the registration process by filling in all required details. 

Step 5: Log in using username or password. 

Step 6: Complete the application process for the scholarship.   


Terms and Conditions

Important information:




  • For renewal of the scholarship, students will have to secure at least 45 percent marks at the completion of the first year of junior college.

  • The document which is required for the application will be the mark sheet of the SSC examination.



Award details-




  • The students studying in Class 11 and 12 will get INR 50 per month for ten months.


To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must -
Be studying in govt. recognised institute
Belong to SC casteBelong to the family where income is less than INR 2.00 lakhs per year.
About the Scholarship
Note:
If the student fails he will not get the scholarship for the year or subsequent yearGirl candidates can avail only one scheme - either the Savitribai Phule Scholarship or the said scheme
For renewal of the scholarship, the students need to complete the class and get admission in next academic year.

For Hosteller student: INR 350 p.m for 10 months and adhoc of INR 1000 p.a
For Day scholar student: INR 150 p.m for 10 months and adhoc of INR 750 p.a
For Physically Challenged Student: INRs 160 p.m
For Mentally Challenged Students: INR 240 p.m
To be eligible, an applicant must
-be domicile of Maharashtra
be studying in Class 1 to 10
Be a person with minimum 40 percent of disability which includes blind, hearing impaired, low vision, mentally retarded, orthopedically handicapped, mentally ill and leprosy cured
.Note- There is no any income criteria for this scholarship.
About the Scholarship
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through their respective school with following steps -Step 1: Get the application form from the concerned school.
Step 2: Fill in all required details.
Step 3: Attach necessary documents.
Step 4: Submit it to the concerned school.

Purpose Award
Class 1 to 4 only for Pre-primary education for hearing impaired: INR 100 p.mClass 5 to 7: INR 150 p.mClass 8 to 10: INR 200 p.mMentally Retarded and Mentally ill up to the age of 18 years: INR 150 p.mFor disabled trainees in a workshop: INR 300 p.m
First 2 students of class 5-10 are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Under this scheme, preference will be given to students studying in 10 Class.
About the Scholarship
Eligibility Criteria
A student must belong to SC community.
Students must have obtained minimum 50 % marks in their last annual examination.
Backward Class Student studying in Class 5-10.



There is no separate application procedure for students. The list of students will be prepared by related School Head Master and will be sent to related District Social Welfare Officer, Zillah Parishad.



INR 50 per month (INR. 500 for 10 months) will be given to Class 5 to 7 students and INR 100 per month (INR 1000 for 10 months) will be given to Class 8 to 10 students.
We invites applications for Savitribai Phule Scholarship for VJNT/SBC/SC Girl 2017-18 from girl students of Class 5 to 10. The main objective is to encourage the girl student to get enroll and study.
About the Scholarship
To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must
-Be a girl candidate
Be from SC, VJNT or SBC category
be studying in class 5 to 10 in Government recognized schools
Note:There is no family annual income limitThe girl candidate should have passed the previous year's examination in order to renew her scholarship.


The eligible girl candidate can apply for the scholarship through concerned school only.The Head-Master will submit the list of eligible girls to concerned Asstt. Commissioner of Social Welfare of their district for sanction of this scholarship.Note: The girl need not required to apply by her own or submit any documents


Purpose AwardThe girl candidate studying in class 8 to 10 will get INR 100 p.m for 10 months
The girl candidate studying in class 5 to 7 will get INR 60 p.m for 10 months
