Creating a Balance Between Devices and Outdoor Life for Your Child

Be it parents or the best schools in Gurgaon, everyone is facing the challenge of kids spending excessive time on devices.

So instead of denial, my wife wanted to explain the importance of balance and how it is our responsibility as parents to ensure he does not get addicted. We explained that video games are great for leisure time but that there were other equally important activities to engage in such as sports, reading and physical activity. We also encouraged him to pursue his hobbies and interests. At the same time we shared with him that video games can offer an enjoyable pastime, and so it was okay to play within reasonable limits.

My son agreed to our terms and understood the importance of balancing his life between entertainment and other activities. We set a schedule for game time which ensured he had enough time for each activity, and he stuck to it. This allowed him to enjoy his game time without crossing any boundaries, and also gave him enough time for other activities.
